Sixth Element Resort, Coorg

The rare location, the lush greenery, the intimate view of the river, and the luxurious cottages with private pool made this project a dream to create. We used natural stones and supported our design vision with the natural beauty of the property. An all-wooden shed was built overlooking the river, bringing the onlooker a sense of calm and serenity as they spent time with the lyrical river.

The cottages have been mindfully designed balancing out luxury and comfort to soothe all the travelers and vacationers who lay their heads to rest here. The dining area has been built on a raised platform with a fireplace right in front of it, creating a warm, cozy vibe right across from the cottages.

The rustic terracotta slate roof, an informal dining setting and lovely home-style wooden flooring gives the whole resort an earthly, warm natural feel. The private pools that come with each cottage are covered with bamboo for privacy. The cane furniture adds to the natural feel and doesn’t make the area look heavily designed, but adds to the closer-to-nature vibe. Truly, blissful to be living here midst the gorgeous Tea Plantations of Coorg.
